MUMBAI, November 25: The three-day 8th China Products Trade Exhibition started in the Indian business hub Mumbai on Nov 25, 2010 with the participation of 114 Chinese exhibitors. It was inaugurated by Niu Qingbao, Chinese consul general Mumbai and Mr Suresh Deora, Hon Gen Secretary, India China Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with other dignitaries.

The trade fair has exhibition area of over 4,000 square meters and draws suppliers of machine products, transportation facilities, home appliance, electronics, building materials, herbal and medical treatment machines.

China is deemed to be India's largest trade partner in 2010 with bilateral trade volume to top 60 billion U.S. dollars while India is China's largest trade partner in South Asia.

So far this year, a number of trade fairs have been launched in Mumbai and New Delhi, facilitating the flows of people and goods between India and China.(with inputs from Xinhua)
